The OVIII tamper-evident ring is produced separately from the cap body and assembled together — a two-part construction that delivers a more reliable and visually distinct tamper-evidence function than the single-piece integral OVII moulding, making it the preferred TE configuration for pharmaceutical, regulated healthcare, and clinical-grade personal care applications where the quality and clarity of the tamper-evidence mechanism is a specification requirement. When the assembly is opened for the first time the assembled ring separates cleanly from the cap body and remains on the bottle neck, providing unambiguous visible first-open evidence for consumers and regulators alike.
