Because GL18 is an open standard, closures and accessories are interchangeable across different bottle sizes and supplier sources. Both provide tamper evidence but differ in construction. An OVII cap has the tamper-evident ring moulded as an integral part of the cap in a single injection step — cost-effective but with bridges as the primary TE feature.
