ROPP stands for Roll-On Pilfer-Proof. A ROPP28 neck finish is a 28mm diameter glass bottle neck compatible with roll-on screw caps. During capping, the cap is rolled onto the neck thread, creating a secure, tamper-evident closure with a pilfer-proof band that breaks visibly on first opening — providing a clear indication to the consumer that the product is intact and uncompromised.
The ROPP28 neck finish is compatible with ROPP screw caps fitted with tamper-evident bands. Liner options include EPE (Expanded Polyethylene) liners and boreseal liners. EPE liners provide a compression seal suited to a wide range of liquid pharmaceutical products.
