Drop counting introduces variability due to differences in bottle angle, liquid viscosity, surface tension, and drop speed — meaning the actual volume delivered per drop can fluctuate meaningfully between doses. Syringe withdrawal allows the user to draw an exact volume directly into the barrel of a calibrated oral syringe, providing significantly higher volumetric accuracy. For paediatric medicines and other dose-sensitive applications where the therapeutic window is narrow, syringe-based dosing is the clinically safer and more reliable method.

The GL18TEWPP-ISP is compatible with all GL18 glass dropper bottles in the BlueSky range — 5ml, 10ml, 15ml, 20ml, 30ml, 50ml, and 100ml — in both amber and clear glass. The GL18 neck standard is consistent across all bottle volumes, so this closure fits the full range without modification. For oral liquid healthcare products, amber glass is typically recommended to protect light-sensitive formulations.

This closure provides tamper evidence — visible first-open evidence confirming the product has not been accessed prior to use — but is not a child-resistant closure (CRC).
