GL18, White, Integrated Vertical Dropper

A vertical dropper requires the bottle to be fully inverted to 180°, with drops falling by gravity through a controlled drip tube. This produces high dosing precision of ±10% from the target dose weight and is designed for pharmaceutical oral drops and regulated liquid supplements. A rim dropper operates at a 45° tilt, with greater variability in drop size, and is suitable for general dispensing applications such as essential oils, mouthwash, and cosmetic serums. Rim droppers are not appropriate where precise dosing is required.

To select the correct dropper geometry for your product, BlueSky requires four pieces of information: the liquid’s viscosity, surface tension, and density, and your target dose or drop weight. A safety data sheet for your formulation is also helpful for compatibility assessment. Where no specific drop speed is requested, the standard target of 60–120 drops per minute is applied.

The GL18W-IVD is compatible with all four GL18 cap shapes available from BlueSky — Basic Screw, OVII (integral tamper-evident ring), OVIII (assembled tamper-evident ring), and CRC (child-resistant, ISO 8317 certified). The GL18 neck standard is consistent across all these bottles, so the dropper specification does not change with bottle size.
