The 100g aluminium shaker can is suitable for dry, powdered, and granular products including spices, seasonings, table salt, baking powder, dry shampoo, hair volumising powder, cosmetic setting powder, protein supplements, pharmaceutical dry powders, bath salts, and talc. It is not suitable for liquids, oils, or products requiring a hermetic seal without a specially designed insert.
The SC100EPGL uses the SC100CAPBL – a black snap-on press-fit multi-hole shaker cap designed specifically for the 44mm diameter. It is not threaded. Custom-coloured caps are available on enquiry – please contact BlueSky’s team for current availability and lead times.

The SC100EPGL is manufactured from food-grade aluminium with an internal epoxy phenolic lacquer and is suitable for direct contact with dry food products under EU Regulation 1935/2004 and its UK equivalent. Aluminium contains no BPA, phthalates, or DEHP. For pharmaceutical applications, please contact BlueSky to confirm suitability for your specific contents and formulation.
Yes. Aluminium is infinitely recyclable without any loss of quality, making it one of the most sustainable rigid packaging materials available. The SC100EPGL supports verifiable on-pack recyclability claims, aligns with UK EPR requirements and EU’s PPWR, and helps brands move away from single-use plastic formats. Unlike plastic packaging, aluminium is not subject to the UK Plastic Packaging Tax, removing a cost liability for brands switching from virgin plastic dispensing containers.
